I had heavy menstrual bleeding for about 10 years. I had some pain and some mood swings, but they paled in comparison to the fear of having an accident.

I had so many accidents: during a supplier lunch, at the airport, on an airplane, in the car, during meetings. I had several D&Cs and a hysteroscopy, but none of them helped. I wish I knew about NovaSure endometrial ablation long before as I would have saved myself anxiety and embarrassment.

I now have peace of mind. I no longer have to worry where the closest bathroom is, or how long I would have to sit in a meeting or on an airplane. Women need to know that they don’t need to suffer with heavy periods, that there is help available. And they don’t need to go to the extreme with having a hysterectomy; instead, they can go the less invasive route with NovaSure.
